When drop and winter storms send turbulent waves throughout Lake Erie, Canadian photographer Trevor Pottelberg files the risky eruptions that burst from the water’s surface area. Experiencing winds up to 60 miles for each hour, he frames massive waves as they emerge in spectacular outbursts, leaving sprays of icy mist and ripples in their wake. The monumental swells are energetic and immensely robust, showcasing the formidable electricity of nature.
Primarily based in Brownsville, Ontario, Pottelberg teaches images at Fanshawe College or university and will have a range of landscape and animal visuals on perspective at Elm Hurst Inn & Spa in Ingersoll starting off in December.
