Growing up surrounded by a spouse and children fluent in songs and art, Stephanie Birdsall has generally recognised she is an artist. As a plein air painter, I applied to have equally pastels and oils in my car and two easels. I try to remember when I put the two easels facet by aspect, every single with a distinct medium. When the sun was out, I’d paint in one medium. When it went powering a cloud, I painted with the other. I paint far more generally in oil now, but I continue to do pastel. I like the independence of remaining ready to operate in equally mediums.
