“Paint the Town” Labor Day show in Kensington

 I will be the judge for this year’s “Paint the City” Labor Working day Present sponsored by the Montgomery Artwork Association

The Paint the Town Labor Working day Show is one particular of the region’s premier and longest-working art exhibits composed of all community artists. The demonstrate will be open to the community Saturday-Monday, September 3-5, and I will do the two the closed-doorway judging and then and on Saturday, September 3, I will also judge the plein air competitors and then present the awards.

About the Plein Air Competitiveness: As you wander about Kensington on the Saturday of the present weekend, you may see dozens of artists portray and drawing all more than city. Individuals are participants of the once-a-year Plein Air Levels of competition. From 7 am-3 pm, grown ups and kids comprehensive paintings with a Kensington topic and post them for prizes awarded by me. The competition is open to all adults and little ones. Absolutely free for small children less than 18 and current MAA members older people pay $10 per human being. Registration opens July 15.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 3: Show floor open up 11 a.m.-5 p.m. and Plein air artwork competitiveness, 7 a.m.-3 p.m. — Awards ceremony, 6-8 p.m.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 4: Exhibit ground open up, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. 

MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 5: Show flooring open up, 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Select up bought artwork, 5:00-8:00 p.m.
