A collection of techniques (respiration, motion, voice) named IASI (restoration in greek) are applied for the preparing of and self-restoration from demanding functionality parts and shared to support some others in a single-to-a person sessions that stick to a protocol of confidentiality. “Case_L” is the review of a recurring circumstance that emerged through IASI sessions, particularly that of worry attack. The exhibition unfolds in Friart as a spatial, metaphysical, felt and ideological structure. Its measures consist of the manifestation, expression, procedure and restoration in a route favoring transversality and connectivity about the segregation of know-how and perception. Through awareness to the diaphragm—metaphorically advised by the artist as horizon—the exhibition opens up the possibility of restoration from the mechanisms of aggression and fragmentation in which the body is considered an extractable resource.
In Friart, Georgia Sagri continues her distinctive tactic of the exhibition as a multi-faceted assemblage of mediums and interactions, including a 7 days-prolonged general performance piece entitled Shelter_Refuge along with her performs, drawings and writings.
