Marcella Martin is a PhD Applicant in the Office of Italian Scientific tests at New York College. She holds a Master’s degree in Visible Lifestyle: Costume Reports also from New York University. Prior to commencing her doctoral experiments she was a Lecturer in the record of style and Curator of the Textile and Costume Selection at Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has revealed on the topics of museum studies and costume history, most not too long ago in a co-authored essay entitled “Heritage narratives in the electronic era: How digital technologies have enhanced techniques and equipment for trend know-how, traditions, and memories” in the Investigate Journal of Textile and Apparel. Through her fellowship with the Middle for Italian Modern day Artwork, Marcella will be performing on a task entitled “The Manner of Advertising and marketing: Reference and Reproducibility, 1930-2018”. This task uses the art of industrial posters as a starting off stage to examine the limitations of reproducibility, from visuals to artworks to exhibitions.
