“Evening at Hay Meadow – Original” [13th July 2022] by Matt The Unfathomable Artist, drawing with H, HB, 4B, 8B, charcoal (m) pencil and charcoal adhere, signed in black ink on 280gsm 250mm x 300mm gesso primed canvas [pad], digitally edited image 3282 x 2807 pixels.

“Evening at Hay Meadow – Original” (demonstrated earlier mentioned) took me about a single hour in two classes. The initially session of around 35 minutes was created even though sitting by the steel gate in Hay Meadow.

Literally viewing the composition you see in this sketch.

I took a photograph to go on working on a second draft session afterwards that evening. Employing charcoal adhere, HB and medium charcoal pencils for all-around 25 minutes.

On completing the canvas artwork that late evening, I am very happy with this perform. The differentiation concerning gentle and dim tones, just as the sound and silence intervals in audio, can make for a very pleasing composition here.

“Evening at Hay Meadow – Sepia” [14th July 2022] by Matt The Unfathomable Artist, drawing with H, HB, 4B, 8B, charcoal (m) pencils and charcoal stick, signed in black ink on 280gsm 250mm x 300mm gesso primed canvas [pad], digitally edited picture 3282 x 2807 pixels.

‘Sepia’ (proven above) represents ye olde days prior to the fashionable Industrial Age (1760 onwards) when all world wide [agricultural] land was mainly unpolluted, vigorous and pure.

“Evening at Hay Meadow – Sunshine” [14th July 2022] by Matt The Unfathomable Artist, drawing with H, HB, 4B, 8B, charcoal (m) pencils and charcoal adhere, signed in black ink on 280gsm 250mm x 300mm gesso primed canvas [pad], digitally edited impression 3282 x 2807 pixels.

For this ‘Sunshine’ artwork (shown above) I digitally additional the Solar and sunflare you see beautifully radiant hovering in excess of the treeline.
Viewing my ‘Sunshine’ version we can see the plan for the passing of time, interconnective to the Sepia style of images.

Astronomers write that it can take about eight minutes for the mild from our closest star, the Sunshine, to access Earth.

Thus could we say there is a particular nostalgia to the hue we see symbolizing time?

Appear at how colour influences our perception of age. From sepia colours in images, to the aged reddish-rust we see on once silvery shining metals.

“Evening at Hay Meadow – Green” [14th July 2022] by Matt The Unfathomable Artist, drawing with H, HB, 4B, 8B, charcoal (m) pencils and charcoal adhere, signed in black ink on 280gsm 250mm x 300mm gesso primed canvas [pad], digitally edited picture 3282 x 2807 pixels.

‘Green’ (shown above) signifies the color of grasses and leaves attractively highlighting the natural beauty of mother nature in this artwork.

I seriously love each a single of these new artworks. The clouds are understated nevertheless substantive. There are 3 layers of darker tones, reduce, mid and mid-higher in my composition. We see vagueness afar, while definition is fairly clearer in the nearer foreground grass stalks. Whilst even with the latter I have tried to generate movement, as if the tall grasses are swaying.

I visually calculated the grasses encompassing me in the industry, that quite night. Absolutely about four ft in the very least trodden places nearer the ‘Ridge Willow’ fence, even nearing 5 ft tall!

“Where rabbits and bugs are my friends”.

“Evening at Hay Meadow – Collage” [cropped – 14th July 2022] by Matt The Unfathomable Artist, drawing with H, HB, 4B, 8B, charcoal (m) pencils and charcoal adhere, signed in black ink on 280gsm 250mm x 300mm gesso primed canvas [pad], digitally edited image 3264 x 3264 pixels.

For my ‘Collage’ artwork (shown above) I introduced together ‘Original’, ‘Sepia’, ‘Green’ and ‘Sunshine’ into a somewhat cropped collage of 9 images. Visually repeating the artworks in Warhol design for dramatic artistic result.

Be sure to observe my ‘Sepia’, ‘Sunshine’, ‘Green’ and ‘Collage’ artworks are all individual digital artworks. “Evening at Hay Meadow – Original” is a sketched canvas artwork, and a electronic artwork as well.

For these fascinated below is the photographic composition by myself from exactly where my “Evening at Hay Meadow” sequence of artworks has derived:
