Be part of us for a series of talks that includes the artists in Activating the Renaissance, an exhibition that seeks to illustrate the connections involving the Italian Renaissance and Baroque periods and present-day artwork, each individual giving insights into the other. In this 1st of a few interviews, artists Tawny Chatmon and Stephen Towns are in dialogue with Molly Warnock, historian and critic of the visible arts, and Joaneath Spicer, The James A. Murnaghan Curator of Renaissance and Baroque Art at the Walters. The speakers will explore themes in the exhibit and how every single artist attracts from the past to comment on the existing.
